I receive considerable interest in the wire art process and how this creative outlet came into being. If you ever happen to see me working at one of my elusive spots around the Comox Valley, do stop and chat! But in the meanwhile, here is some insight into me and what you can expect from my work.
Processing and Shipping
How long is your processing time?
Current processing time is about a week, though your order may be sent out before that if I get caught up on orders. Most orders that I receive are personalized or customized, so they are made to order. During Christmas holidays, this processing time may increase.
How long does shipping take? Does it include tracking?
For US and Canadian orders, shipping normally takes between 4-10 business days.
FOR USA CUSTOMERS: Since I am in a more remote location, US orders ship in two stages: first to my cross-border delivery center, then through the USPS. Tracking is included for your order for the second stage, but it takes 2-5 business days once shipped to reach the cross-border delivery center. I may or may not have tracking for this first stage. Once it reaches the delivery center, it should take an additional 2-5 business days to reach you (so a total of anywhere between 4-10 business days is normal range). During the Christmas season, this may be longer.
FOR CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: Most Canadian orders are sent out via Canada Post untracked lettermail, which takes anywhere from 2-10 days to be delivered, normally. Tracking may be available for larger orders. During the Christmas season, the shipping time may be longer. All shipping numbers given are estimates.
FOR OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Most of the time international orders are sent out via Chit Chats, which partners with Asendia. It typically takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks for orders to arrive, depending on customer location and how busy the postal system is. Tracking is usually available, except in select countries.
Will there be customs fees when I receive my order?
Depending where you live, you may be charged customs fees/VAT fees. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for possible delays due to customs.

Do you accept returns, exchanges or cancellations?
Yes, I do accept returns or exchanges for non personalized items only.
General FAQ
There are small marks in the wire. Is that normal? Can I get it without any marks?
It is normal for there to be at least a few small dents or rustic looking marks on pieces due to me using pliers to make them. I have some tricks up my sleeve to limit the marks made, but cannot guarantee that your piece will be completely without any marks.
Can you make your pieces in different colors?
Right now I currently offer only a few select colors. Depending on what product you are ordering, colors might include gold, silver, copper, black or dark grey. However, I love innovation and testing new ideas, so keep an eye out for when I do bring in new colors!
Can I order a custom/different word than what is shown?
Depending on what listing you are referring to, absolutely! The personalized listings give instructions for what you can put in your custom word/letters, but if you want something a bit different or are unsure about a detail, please don't hesitate to send me a message to check.
I have an idea for a custom item that doesn't really fit in any of your listings. Can you make it?
Possibly! Just send me a message with the details about what you are hoping for, and I will get back to you about if I think I can make it or not. Some requests may be impractical to make using wire, but most custom things that have been requested so far have been possible!
Do you do different fonts in your personalized items?
For larger wall pieces that include words, yes I do. For bookmarks and ornaments, I do not currently offer different fonts.
Do you make personalized items in other languages/scripts?
Yes, you just have to make sure that you send me the word/phrase exactly as it should be. Certain scripts may be more difficult than others, and I may not be able to do all of them. Please contact before ordering if you are hoping to have a different script than the standard Latin-English alphabet. These usually take much longer if I am unfamiliar with the alphabet, and I will need to charge an additional customization fee for the extra work involved.
Wire Words FAQ
How many words/how long of a phrase can I have for wall words?
You can have as many words as you want! In my listings for custom words, there may be a maximum number of characters to choose from in the drop down menu. But if your phrase is longer than this, just send me a message with the details of what you need, and I can make a custom listing for you.
What info do I need to give you for a longer wall word request?
Color, size (small or large), which font, and the exact phrase that you want with the grammar and spelling as you want. Also, leet me know if you prefer it to be the floating style of words (with prongs on the ends to poke into the walls), or nonfloating (to be hung with nails or command hooks).
How do I hang my words?
For standard floating words, line up the word(s) on the wall where you want them, and mark where the prongs meet the wall with pencil. Drill holes in those marks, and then just push the ends of the prongs into the holes. Longer words may be broken apart into two or more parts, so you may need more than 2 holes per word. I include instructions with each order.
